The Urban stage went off in 2016 so we've tweaked the layout again to provide a lot more room and open up viewing over the lagoon side. We've gone hundy on the lineup with Homebrew ft Razia Biza, Kings, Ladi6 and Savage to name a few...it's guaranteed to be gold.

Aaradhna is amazing! Old soul rhythm & blues, Aaradhna's influenced by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Sam Cooke and Otis Redding. Ladi6 is our undisputed queen of hip hop. Her distinct soul diva voice sings it straight with her dream team band of Parks and Julian Dynes deliver the goods in their slinky, groovy way. Their live set is honed to perfection. They effortlessly turn up the cool-factor wherever they play and a great time is guaranteed! Starting out on the streets of Wellington as buskers, this 4-piece alternative pop/hip hop act must have dropped jaws when they slotted themselves the support act for the Gorillaz Sound System when they played here in 2015, on top of the support act for SBTRKT! When Kings launched himself onto the NZ music scene it was with a BOOM! His 1st official release 'Promise to you' a collaboration with General Lee was chosen to be on the Ministry of Sound SessioNZ 2013. Nomad's been running up the charts of success over the last year. Their catchier than catchy single 'Oh My My' is a huge hit on iTunes, Spotify and all over the airwaves. Openside Where to begin? This infections pop-rock 4 piece are winning a ton of fans. Opening for Twenty One Pilots and Ladyhawke, picking up a bunch of attention from their catchy single 'Branches,' causing a stir online with their incredible covers of Taylor Swifts 'Style' and Major Lazers 'Lean on'. Clint Roberts, he was the Clint part of the Edge's drive time "Guy, Sharyn & Clint" show. He's opened for Avicii and played alongside Major Lazer, has an official fan-club (who have t-shirts!) but has somehow managed to keep his head and remain ever so humble. He's actually a pretty good DJ (once named NZ's 5th best school disco DJ) and is up for the banter as much as the tunes. Watch his 'DJ training'
Hailing from the capital, Heist is no stranger to a packed dance floor. Having supported acts such as Slow Magic, Sweater Beats, Whatsonot and Vince Staples along with appearances at Ohakune Mardi Gras and Rhythm & Vines this young selector's energetic, multi-genre sets are not to be missed.

Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.
Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
