This monstrous powerhouse of metal from Hamilton are back from their 2017 UK tour and ready to blow our minds once again. With spectacular lead vocals from Jennie Skulander, the band in its entirety bring a magnitude of energy, compelling and irresistible sound with an explosive live performance. They sure make it look easy, do Auckland quartet Elemeno-P. Inane melodies, lyrics attempting wry humour in their few variations of boy meets/loses/misses girl, and fuzzy guitars to keep it grinding along through the choruses. Spread that over 12 tracks in less than 40 minutes and watch it go straight in at number one on the local album charts, that's what happened to Elemeno-P's album Love & Distrspect. The Feelers have gone from busking on street corners to becoming pioneers of Kiwi rock. Formed in Christchurch 1993, the line-up has been revitalised with founding members James Reid and Hamish Gee now joined by Andy Lynch (Zed) and Clinton Harris (Opshop). Their remastered Supersystem album with a roll call of hits has earned themselves a place in The Great Kiwi Song Book. Check out 'Never get me Down'
This 2-piece hairy alternative rock band from Auckland are making far more noise than any 2 people should; if you haven't seen them live now is your chance! Having recorded their debut album at Neil Finn's Roundhead Studios, these guys are all over it. Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.
Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
