In 2010 the Nokia stage is moving to Upper Frank Kitts Park with more area to kick back, more food, a bigger bar and  enough room for 2,500 people under a huge marquee.

It's a prime place to be with a solid line up and great views of the rest of the waterfront. Plus we've also got one more band to add to the line-up so check back in about a month.

The line-up...

The Mint Chicks
The Mint Chicks have done it all, they've climbed all the PA's, back flipped off all the drum risers & bloodied all their fingers. Not to mention being finalists in 4 categories at the 2009 NZ Music Awards including Best Group & Best Rock Album for their latest release 'Screens'.

Liam Finn
Bred locally, internationally acclaimed & making his first appearance here.
Liam's reputation is only bettered by his unique live performances combining spontaneity & intensity with crafted song writing. His talents are unquestioned & his full live show isn't to be missed!

 Cut Off Your Hands
Indie post punkers Cut Off Your Hands 2nd album 'You and I' is up for Album of the Year & Best Rock Album at the NZ music awards. They've toured throughout the UK, US & Europe to great success. "Awesomely angular, NZ's new finest purveyors of controlled chaos."- Rolling Stone. This is your chance to catch them in NZ.
Pluto
Pluto have carved their name across the NZ music landscape with a highly reputed live show, three critically acclaimed albums & an aura of mystique & intrigue. They are in the process of releasing new material including the new single 'Snake Charmer' which has also been getting rave reviews.
The Checks The Checks
The Checks sophomore album 'Alice by the Moon' is really good and if you don't own it...you should! These guys just keep getting better & better with their brand of blues-driven, jazzed up, high energy, soul madness.  They are back on the Nokia stage in 2010 and will be sure to play to a packed house.
 Bang Bang Eche
With a reputation for no-holds-barred live shows, expect a full throttled perfromance at Jim Beam Homegrown with these guys. After dominating the bNets in 08 with their No1 hits '4 To The Floor' & 'Nikee' the Christchurch dance punks went international last October, after being flown to New York for the CMJ Music Festival.
Collapsing Cities
Hailing from Auckland, Collapsing Cities are probably best described as a pointed, raw boned post/dance punk band. They were bnet breakthrough artist of the year in 2007, finalist for the silver scroll award in 2008 and their debut album 'Elixir Always' received outstanding reviews.
Motocade
Motocade provide a pretty powerful way to start the day on the Nokia stage. They'll be kicking it off early but have easily got the credentials to be playing much later in the day. Make sure you get there early to catch Motocade and the rest of what is a VERY solid indie line-up.

Knives at Noon
Knives at Noon are a foursome who sleep in Dunedin. They try not to take themselves too seriously but are gaining a reputation for abrasive electro-rock with a high-intensity live performance.
