Raw Collective started when producer/emcee Raw Deezy was looking for a musician to help craft and create something new. He found what he was looking for in Pauly Plum. Calling upon Jack Cromie, Blain Fitzpatrick and Ben Hunt a foundation was built combining funk, jazz and old school hip hop. Unique samples to loop with drum beats then melodies, bass, horn lines and vocals and you have the full sound of what Raw Collective has become. Watch 'Dont leave your luck'
This Wellington rock quartet has established themselves as one of the most in-demand young rock bands in the capital. Last year they released their debut EP 'Plastic Wasteland', won Battle of the Bands 2015 and did a rollercoaster tour of Europe. 2016 saw Bakers Eddy open for US rockers 'Highly Suspect' at the Powerstation. Mad Handsome an exciting hip-hop duo hailing from Wellington. MC/Producers CK and Kaivai met through mutual friends and instantly hit it off, recording demos within hours of meeting each other. first come first serve basis.
Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
