Soul drenched vocals and jazz harmonies collide with tape delays and echo chambers, underpinned by a rhythm section; Fat Freddy's Drop are kings of the Kiwi music scene. Currently touring the UK and Europe, FFD will be back in time for Jim Beam Homegrown so we can get down to live performances of their latest hits from their new album 'Bays' along with the old favourites. Originally grounded in Rotorua, Whangarei & Botany, these musicians re-planted their roots in South Auckland to start reggae band Sons of Zion in 2007. They have been taking on the music industry one cruisy beat at a time and now have a hard-core Kiwi fan-base. Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.
Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
