Originally grounded in Rotorua, Whangarei & Botany, these musicians re-planted their roots in South Auckland to start reggae band Sons of Zion in 2007. They have been taking on the music industry one cruisy beat at a time and now have a hard-core Kiwi fan-base. Straight outta Otara, reggae band Three Houses Down has been built on a strong choral tradition and have toured and played alongside such acts as Ziggy Marley, UB40 and Shaggy. After releasing albums 'Breakout' and 'Dreadtown' 3HD toured the US, Australia, Hawaii and the South Pacific. Hit singles include 'Moon and Back', 'I Need a Woman' and Never Ever'. Comprised of the legendary KORA brothers Brad on drums and Stu, fast emerging singer and guitarist Joel Shadbolt and Rory McCartney on bass L.A.B's musicianship is unquestionable. Each stage has a limited capacity and during the day access is on a
first come first serve basis.
Tickets to Jim Beam Homegrown are strictly limited and we're keeping numbers down to try and make sure everybody can see the bands they want to see but if you've got a favourite band it can't hurt if you get there a little early.
